These include partnerships with Roanoke Children’s Theatre, the Community Youth Program with St. John’s and the Taubman Museum of Art.
It is with this philosophy that Barrows was chosen by Steelcase, a manufacturing company, as the local merchant to implement two “Active Learning Center Grants” to higher education institutions in our area: Virginia Tech and Radford University. Both grants are valued at $67,000 and will include furniture, design review, installation, onsite training and a Learning Environment Evaluation measurement tool.
